Hi there! My name is Danielle and I am the owner of Bod Dee Love Atlanta LLC. I am so excited to share everything I have been working so hard on with you all!
My journey into soap making and skincare stems from my love of DIY projects, saving money, and a healthier approach to skincare. Like so many others, I found commercial soaps to become so drying and full of chemicals which ended up causing the opposite of what was advertised. Hence, not moisturizing, not exfoliating, not deep cleaning, and so forth. I needed and wanted better for my body. After all, skin care is self-care.
I started to research all the many different properties of oils, butter, and natural ingredients and how they affect your skin. After extensive research, I learned less is normally better. Meaning, a lot of the time that long list of ingredients you see on labels is causing your skin more harm than good.
I put my safety gear on and made my first batch. After 6 months of batches and test runs, I finally produced all items I am happy with and comfortable sharing with you all.
I take such great joy in making all my products from scratch with quality, natural, and organic ingredients. Every single item I offer has been tested on not just myself but my family and more importantly my toddler. So that means, everything is effective but gentle enough for all skin types including sensitive skin.
Most items are vegan although a few soaps (listed) will use animal milk and honey. (If you have any questions on ingredients feel free to email/contact us). I will continue to add to the line as I research and develop new products.
